After a busy season filled with nice events, beautiful rides and a bunch of new members it was time to gather on Saturday, the 7th of October for the traditional end of season ride. Moreover, this year for a change, on a bright sunshiny day.
Meeting was, as usual, at 13h30PM in Brouch on the parking lot next to the church. Half an hour later, the participants started their engines and left for Viichten, Groussbous and Hierheck in order to stop in Esch/Sauer for a cup of coffee. After that, everybody was back on the road, heading to Goebelsmühle, Lipperscheid, Bourscheid and Erpeldange. Overall, we rode around 50kms under bright sunshine.
In the evening, everyone gathered in Relais Bausch for a cozy dinner, a drink and a chat with likeminded fellows.
Now, with the dark months of the year around the corner, many AMAL members will retreat into their garages and workshops to mend the wounds and sores the past season has left on their bikes. Some might even resurrect a two-wheeled corpse that was lurking in the back of the garage for ages in order to face the next season with a flashy new ride.
