On the 30th of April, a bunch of AMAL members participated in the 7ème Promenade Gillet Herstal in the Belgian town of Dinant. This remarkable event, organized every three years by Vincent Derdeyne and Yves Campion for the RVMCB, is exclusively for bikes manufactured by Gillet, either in Herstal (Belgium), Jeumont (France) or Milan (Italy).
Meeting at 7h30 in the morning near the impressive Citadelle de Dinant for a coffee and a croissant, the participants left the premises at 9h00 for a 150km ride around the area of Dinant.
Returning at the Citadelle de Dinant around 5 o’clock in the afternoon, participants had the opportunity to grab a little snack, have a drink, chat with likeminded fellows and marvel at the all the Belgian bikes on display that day.
